Meet Dr. Pellerano, DDS

"I believe in offering the best dental care for my patients by staying current with all the new techniques in dentistry. My goal is to blend science and art to help my patients improve their dental health in a non-judgmental way. I never lecture or talk down to my patients. I love working with patients of all ages. From 3 to 103, everyone needs healthy teeth."

Dr. Dania Pellerano knew she wanted to become a dentist from a very young age, and has been treating dental patients with care and compassion over the past 20 years. Her experience includes:

  • She received her first Doctor of Dentistry at the Universidad Central Del Este in the Dominican Republic where she worked for two years as a general dentist.

  • Dr. Pellerano graduated from New York University as a Doctor of Dental Surgery.

  • In Albuquerque, she became part of the first group of residents at UNM to join the Advanced Education in General Dentistry.

  • Today, Dr. Pellerano runs her own practice and loves her profession, saying "It has given me the opportunity to combine beauty and health. I believe dentistry is the fusion of art and science."

  • Dr. Pellerano makes it a priority not only to provide the best oral care, but to educate her patients. "For me, communication and understanding of dental procedures and oral health care is a priority in order to help patients feel relaxed and safe in the dental chair."
