Dental Implants
Solutions for Missing Teeth
A smile can be the most eye-catching feature of a face. Gaps or missing
teeth can create indentations in the cheeks that can cause skin to wrinkle. We can replace missing teeth with modern dentistry and dental implants.
Replacing missing teeth will benefit your appearance and your health.
If you wait too long after losing a tooth, your remaining teeth may shift.
They can throw off the alignment of your bite, causing jaw problems (TMJ),
increasing the chance of periodontal disease and possible bone loss.

Dental Implants
Depending on the location of your missing tooth, it can change the appearance
and aesthetics of your face and smile.
They may also cause your surrounding teeth to shift, resulting in hygiene
problems, reduced chewing function, wear and tear on surrounding teeth,
and long-term dental problems. Without support from the denture, facial muscles sag,
making a person look older.
To stabilize dentures so they look and feel like your own teeth, Dr.
Pellerano is certified in dental implants that anchor dentures directly
to the jawbone. Because dental implants stand alone, they do not depend on adjacent teeth
for support.

Fillings Using White Composites
Composites or white fillings are the material of choice for many patients
today. Dr. Pellerano uses composite filling materials designed to match
the color of your teeth and blend in with your tooth enamel.
They're a perfect choice when the cavity is in a visible area, such as
on the front teeth, at the gum line, or some back teeth when restoration
is small.
The two main ingredients are plastic resin and a filler of finely ground
glass-like particles. Although composites are preferred for cosmetic
reasons, if a cavity is too large, or is in an area where much chewing
occurs, Dr. Pellerano may recommend a different restorative material.
Like all fillings, composites, over time, may need replacing. Schedule
regular dental check-ups with Dr. Pellerano in order to detect any problems
early.

Custom Fixed Bridge
An implant bridge attaches artificial teeth directly to the jaw or under
the gum tissue. Depending on which type of bridge Dr. Pellerano recommends
for you, its success depends on its foundation. So it's very important
to keep your remaining teeth healthy and strong.
With dentistry's many advances, you no longer have to settle for artificial
teeth that don't stay put. Dr. Pellerano gives you choices that can help
you smile with confidence.

New Dentures
If you’ve lost all of your natural teeth, whether from periodontal
disease, tooth decay or injury, Dr. Pellerano offers various types of
complete dentures that can help you eat and speak normally again—things
that people often take for granted until their natural teeth are lost.
A conventional full denture is made and placed in the patient’s
mouth after the remaining teeth are removed and tissues have healed which
may take several months.
An immediate complete denture is inserted as soon as the remaining teeth
are removed. With immediate dentures, you can walk out of Dr. Pellerano’s
office with your new teeth in just one visit!
